| CINDY BLACKMAN, a drummer/composer/bandleader in the style of her late mentor Tony Williams, brings a power and dexterity to the drum kit that shatters any sexual stereotypes about female instrumentalists. Cindy recently left her longtime gig with Grammy-winning rocker Lenny Kravitz, and is now free to perform with her own jazz-rock quartet featuring J.D. Allen on tenor sax, bassist George Mitchell, and young guitar sensation Fionn O'Lachlainn. She can subtract sax for a trio or add keyboards for a quintet, and all options are killin'!
