Jane's connection to Cuba is authentic, as shown in the acclaimed full-length documentary Spirits of Havana, shot in Cuba by the National Film Board of Canada, and now available on DVD. After earning Grammy nominations for Best Latin Jazz CD for her Blue Note recordings Alma de Santiago and Cuban Odyssey, Jane's newest CD, Rhapsody Cubana on the Alma label, is a more intimate affair, exploring the great Cuban songbook in duo with pianist Hilario Duran.
